This very well served me for a car 2005 battle because it did not connect and it is that phone goes in the usb above the carplay. Not in the usb of the charger.
It’s a little wonky but it does what it says, so I can’t ask for more. Sound quality is pretty good too. Only REALLY complaint is the interface is a little weird too but like I said it does what it says. Works with my iPhone 14 Pro Max.
